Sapphtember in June
Sapphtember is a Queer-women/Sapphic-exclusive Drink and Draw first established in September 2025 (It’s where the name really came from!). Artist Prinsomnia just happened to help organize the first of hopefully many of these drink and draws last year, and the name stuck. It’s a fun name for a month-long celebration of the Sapphics outside of Pride month! Sapphtember hopes to create a lowkey space for introverted queers, especially for queer women, where they can be loud and proud in their own way.
This edition of Sapphtember is called “Sapphtember in June”, where we’d like to get the Sapphics together in a low-key event during Pride Month, a month of usually high-energy celebration. It’s also a response to the recent discussion of the lack of spaces that herald queer women! Entrance is Php 650 with free drink!

Notes from the organizer
Drinking and drawing starts at 1:00 pm, and we keep going with hourly drawing prompts, art trades, a drawing mixer, and a bulletin board where you can draw and post your own dating profile and shoot your shot if you’re single! For all the drawing activities, there will be materials provided at the venue, but you’re more than welcome to bring and use your own! You can also bring your own tabletop games or borrow from a library to play with your newfound (or old) friends!
Notes:
- The art swap is optional, but you’re encouraged to bring your own items and join in!
- You may bring your own art materials! There will also be materials available at the venue.
- Harassment and misconduct will not be tolerated. Please report any inappropriate behavior to the staff. Be cool!
