Sapphtember: Snail Mail Party
Sapphtember has always been a lowkey and safe space for sapphics and queer women to meet each other, hang out, and make art regardless of skill level. This upcoming edition of Sapphtember invites the girlies to paint and think about people and places they miss! The event is in partnership with Paint As You Please, another woman-led organizer of freestyle painting sessions to make art approachable to all. If you’ve been looking for a safe place to try painting or return to it for a few hours, this is the perfect event for you!
We’re also including a small exhibit highlighting some women artists and their snail mail pieces, and other work. It’s going to be a chill time! Join us for another lowkey, introvert-friendly gathering to talk, hang, and most of all connect by making art together with other sapphics and queer women. ✨

Notes from the organizer
There will be postcard painting, letter or journal writing, a stamp station, a snail mail and photography exhibit, an opportunity to send the postcards or letters, and just a good time and place to hang out with fellow sapphics!
Notes:
- The art and stationery swap is optional, but you’re encouraged to bring your own items and join in!
- You may bring your own art materials especially for those who bought an entry-only ticket! There will also be materials available at the venue.
- Harassment and misconduct will not be tolerated. Please report any inappropriate behavior to the staff. Be cool!
- Pets are allowed 💗
